My Work Experience

Jan 2025 - Present (11 months)


- Manage Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Section 618 data collections, overseeing data quality, submission, and compliance for state-reported data on more than 8 million children with disabilities.

- Provide analytical support and technical expertise for federal oversight initiatives such as the State Performance Plan/Annual Performance Report (SPP/APR) and Results Driven Accountability (RDA).

- Design and implement accessible data tools and visual analytics products using Power BI, Looker Studio, Excel, and Python to support data-driven decision-making.

- Develop and maintain accessible dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that meet Section 508 requirements and are usable by staff and the public.

- Oversee a portfolio of discretionary grants and technical assistance centers focused on special education data systems, ensuring strong performance and compliance with program standards.

- Contribute to Department-wide data governance and accessibility efforts, supporting improved data use and interoperability across programs.

- Serve as lead program officer for a $25 million discretionary grant competition to establish a national special education data center that advances high-quality, accessible data systems.

CEO of a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation benefitting neurodivergent adults.

- Deep understanding of neurodiversity, autism, and related conditions, coupled with a passion for driving social change and promoting inclusivity.
- Honed in on developing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering meaningful connections and building positive relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- I showcase a proven ability to lead and inspire a team, empowering them to achieve organizational goals and drive positive change.
- We sponsored a Neurodiversity Awareness Day event in conjunction with Columbia University that had 300+ participants.


Nov 2023 - Jan 2025 (1 year 3 months)


Selected as one of 150 members from over 1,500 applicants to represent youth perspectives in global education policy for UNESCO.


- Advocated for and advanced Education initiatives within the SDG 4-Education 2030 High-Level Steering Committee (HLSC) and the Global Education Cooperation Mechanism (GCM).

- Publish policy briefs and articles on key education issues, including disability inclusion.

- Lead trainings and represent youth perspectives at regional and international education forums.

- Using quantitative and qualitative techniques to conduct research on inclusive education focused projects that let to multiple quantiatively-focused academic publications that can be seen on my Google Scholar.

Grading homework assignments and hosting office hours weekly for a masters-level statistics course with 26 students.


August 2023 - March 2024 (8 months)


Authentic Social focuses on an education-based approach to social selling and communication strategy for hybrid & remote organizations. Authentic Social prioritizes education & implementation through founder-led projects, supported by its robust network of fractional advisors.


- As an advisor, I consulted Authentic Social on neurodiversity in the workplace, data science business applications, learning design, and more.


August 2023 - January 2024 (6 months)


At the Office of the Special Advisor for International Disability Rights

- Closely collaborating with the Senior Advisor to implement a comprehensive narrative change initiative centered on advancing the human rights of people with disabilities.
- Identifying and leveraging upon opportunities to engage public figures, influencers, and thought leaders in order to raise awareness and generate support for the rights of people with disabilities.
- Coordinating effectively with counterparts in public affairs and diplomacy across the various branches of the US Government in order to maximize the impact of efforts.
- Conducting in-depth research to identify unused mechanisms for broadening the discourse on disability rights
- Participating actively in drafting briefing materials, assisting with project coordination, and assisting the Senior Advisor as required.


January 2022 - May 2022 (5 months; Full Time)


- Assisted in project using machine learning methods (random forest) to search for life chemically on exoplanets 

- Built dashboard for Hubble Space Telescope team using R, Google Data Studio, and Google Sheets to provide social media statistics which is still used to support and help the team to analyze effectiveness of each post as well as inform planning for future posts.

- Performed time series analysis including ARIMA models to forecast future following trends 

- Worked independently and in a team to identify statistics and analyze data that has changed strategies within the social media team including breaking the record for highest impressions on a post 

- Collaborated with NASA’s Podcast team to deliver a Google Data Studio dashboard and meaningful statistics to help better understand audio consumers and how they interact with agency products

September 2021 - May 2022 (9 months)


- Designed and began the development of the federal government's intelligence community's Neurodivergent At Work initiative, which will assist upcoming candidates who have disabilities get jobs that are meaningful to them.


January 2021 - September 2021 (9 months)


- Analyzed and ran regressions on a data set of 90,000 patients’ health data for genetic disorders and co-occurring conditions in autism which was presented at a Geisinger Conference
- Created regressions using python to analyze COVID-19 data which helped the team to forecast the supplies needed and future trends of the pandemic


August 2020 - June 2021 (11 months)


- Developed data scraping and analysis logic for building a neural network model to predict the outcome of visa applications.
- Lead a team of interns through validation techniques for the machine learning model.
- Led Python workshops for other interns.


May 2019 - December 2020 (1 year 8 months)


- Analyzed NASA's Kepler Space Telescope Time Series data which involved interpolating holes in the data, running and analyzing Fourier transforms of light spectra and computational analysis in Excel and Python that I presented at 4 local conferences. 


July 2020 - September 2020 (3 months)


- Developed models to help predict the company’s sales growth and retention rate.
- Proposed and built an analytics model to help the company in decision making.


April 2020 - August 2020 (5 months)


- Surveyed and analyzed large amounts of data on sexual assault and helped build the company’s analytics.
- Presented the findings to the CEO at weekly meetings to support in decision-making.


May 2019 - August 2019 (4 months)


- Presented an oral research talk where I discussed findings on a medicinal chemistry project that included data analysis in Excel.
